The Secret Garden
Tea Room and Gift Shop
in historic Herbert Williams House
We serve our own in-house blended loose leaf teas. We begin with high quality teas from four different
importers, and then add natural botanicals, preserved fruits and nuts. We have seasonally inspired tea blends as well. Of course, our tea are available in the gift shop in 2 ounce bags!
These teas, made popular in their countries of origin are steeped in history and tradition.
Fine green teas are blended with natural botanicals and flavors, creating a delightful experience for the palate.
The naturally caffeine-free leaves of the South African plant Rooibos (pronounced "Roy Boss") have been brewed
for centuries, but only in recent years have Westerners discovered the health benefits of drinking red tea. Rooibos tastes similar
to black tea, and comes in a multitude of delightful flavors.
Our flavored black teas begin with a blend of fine Assam and Ceylon teas. Dried fruits, nuts and other
botanical ingredients are added along with natural flavors to create fantastic tastes for you to enjoy.
Rich in antioxidants and lower in caffeine than black or green tea, white tea is delicately flavored. Only the
newest fuzzy white tips and top two leaves of the tea plant are plucked.
Typically served in Asian restaurants, oolong tea is processed by withering and partial fermentation. (Black tea is fermented, green and white are not). Oolong teas develop a medium-bodied flavor and aromatic, nutty and floral
Traditional tea leaves with the caffeine removed.
Decaf Emerald Citron
Called "tisanes" herbal teas contain no tea leaves, but are richly flavored with natural botanical ingredients such
