The Secret Garden Tea Room and Gift Shop relocated to a beautiful Victorian Mansion in Sumner, WA in 2006, after fifteen years at Factoria Mall in Bellevue, WA, .  The charm of the original Queen  Anne and Italianate architecture provides an elegant, yet warm ambiance in which to enjoy a scrumptious lunch or a traditional English-style Tea Set served on a 3-tier stand.  

We are proud to say that all of our food is prepared  in-house with our own "from scratch" recipes.  We even grow many of our herbs in our gardens.  We highly recommend reservations so you are not disappointed by a long wait for a table once we reopen.

Our gift shop is stocked with tea-time treasures and a variety of delightful gifts including our own house-blended loose leaf teas, fanciful jewelry, hats, handbags, scarves and accessories, and charming floral accents for your home.  Many of our most popular items can be purchased in our online shop. 

Our dining room is decorated with china and antique glassware from our vintage china collection which we have made available for party rentals.  We decorate the rooms for the holidays and themed tea experiences with our personal collections as well.   

We believe that the celebration of Afternoon Tea is a congenial and civilized way to share a meal and that it is a respite from the hectic pace of life, which is sorely needed in the modern world.  We are excited to transition our in-house dining to a private club, so that we can focus on creating an exceptional experience for a smaller, select group of afternoon tea lovers.  

In addition to operating the tea room and gift shop, we also organize and lead afternoon tea themed tours.
