In 2024 we are changing our business structure to a private club with onsite dining Friday thru Sunday.
We will continue to offer afternoon tea for back porch pick up to the general public on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
We have come to the realization that our pre-pandemic business model is not going to work in the post-pandemic world. Things have changed a lot in the last four years...food costs, labor shortages, and health and safety practices, not to mention that we are older and are unable to regularly work the long hours we once did. We so appreciate the loyal patronage of our wonderful customers who've supported us over the last nearly four years by ordering our teas to go. We are ready to reopen on a smaller scale.
We will be opening our building for dining on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, serving a multi-course tea experience with a different theme each season. The room decor, tablesetting (using our many English china patterns) and foods will all support the theme, so each season will be a new adventure. Our dining room will have only 5 tables which will enable us to manage most aspects of the tearoom ourselves.
We have found that a number of folks prefer Back Porch Pick Up to dining here, so we will continue to offer to-go on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a range of price points, and available for both members and no-members.
We have learned that what we love about our family business are the relationships we have with customers who become friends. We are delighted to announce the formation of our Royal-Tea Club. Members get early access to reservations, invitations to club events, a discount for tearoom and gift shop purchases and more.
Back Porch Pick Up
If you would like to enjoy one of our afternoon teas or luncheon meals to go on Wednesdays or Thursdays, take a look at our Back Porch Pick Up Menu and decide what you would like to order. Call us at least a few days in advance to place your order and schedule your pick-up time.
Inside Dining
Each season will feature a multi-course afternoon tea for $81 per person*, inclusive of service.
Tips will not be required nor expected.
Payment is due at time of reservation.
Cancellations of 24 hours or more in advance will be refunded as store credit for future use.
Royal-Tea Club members may reserve tables up to 6 weeks in advance & will receive a 10% discount.
Members may bring up to 5 guests for regular reservations and
can book private or semi-private parties of up to 14 guests.
Non-club members may make reservations up to 10 days in advance
with a maximum party size of 6 guests.
