Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island,

and New Brunswick

We will begin the tour in Halifax, Nova Scotia before setting off on a private mini bus tour that will take us to Prince Edward Island, home of Lucy Maud Montgomery and her beloved Anne of Green Gables fictional heroine.  After 3 days on PEI, we'll travel to St John, New Brunswick and then take a ferry across the Bay of Fundy to visit 3 charming and historic areas of Nova Scotia on our way back to Halifax.

2024 is the 150th anniversary of the birth of Lucy Maud Montgomery, so it's the perfect time to visit the many Anne of Green Gables tourism sites including the Anne of Green Gables museum, heritage site, the author's birthplace and more.  We'll spend time in Avonlea Village and even see live theatre performances.

As we leave PEI, tourism focus will change to the history and geographical wonders of these Canadian Maritimes, with stops at three historic areas of Nova Scotia on our way back to Halifax.

We will enjoy afternoon tea most days on this trip, which will be a genteel contrast to the rugged, yet outstanding beauty of the wild north Atlantic scenery. On the days where there are no tea rooms in proximity, we'll enjoy outstanding local dinner experiences:  a dinner cruise of Charlottetown Harbour and a Lobster supper.

2024 Green Gables  Tea Tour

Dates:     Friday, August 23 to

Friday, August 30, 2024

Tour begins and ends in Halifax, Nova Scotia

$ 4495

double occupancy, airfare not included

Price includes: All group transportation, tours, breakfast and afternoon tea or dinner each day.

We did our very best to lower the cost of this tour, but transportation costs are extremely high in this region.  Tour operator insurance costs, the deep pockets of the cruise ship industry and a short tourism season are the culprits.  We got a number of quotes to find the best price.  The only way this tour could be less expensive would be to have a lot more people participate to dilute the cost, but that would prevent us from being able to patronize the small, family-operated business that make our tours special.

This tour must have 8 particpants committed

by May 1st or tour will be cancelled.

Payment Schedule:

Upon Application  $3000

July 1   balance due
